- Create a free Hunter account
- Copy your API key into Settings → Contacts
Where it goes
In the dashboard, open Settings and find the Contacts section. Secret values are encrypted before they're saved and only their last four characters are ever shown again.

Staying free
Larvabot scrapes the lead's own pages first (free and unlimited), then tries Prospeo and Tomba, and calls Hunter only when those find nothing. It stops at 45 searches a month and checks Hunter's account endpoint for what's really left.
