Gmail (IMAP) setup
Reads your inbox for replies, bounces and alerts.
What it does
Larvabot connects to any IMAP inbox. Gmail works with an app password, and so do most other providers.

Get set up
- Turn on 2-step verification for your Google account
- Create an app password
- In Settings → Inbox: host imap.gmail.com, your Gmail address and the app password
Where it goes
In the dashboard, open Settings and find the Inbox (IMAP) section. Secret values are encrypted before they're saved and only their last four characters are ever shown again.

Larvabot only reads messages from the last few days and ignores copies of its own emails. Your inbox address is stored encrypted and never appears in anything it sends.

Use the inbox where replies to your outreach address actually arrive. With Cloudflare Email Routing forwarding hello@yourdomain to Gmail, that's your Gmail.
Fallback order
For email, Larvabot tries these in order and skips any that aren't set up, are out of free quota or are busy.
