Terms of service
Last updated
These terms are the agreement between you and Larvabot for using the Larvabot website and dashboard (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Larvabot for a company, you agree on its behalf.
#The service
Larvabot helps you find places where your project belongs, drafts personal emails and replies for you to review, sends the emails you approve through your own email account, and reports on what brought visitors. It never sends an email you haven't approved and never posts anything for you.
Larvabot is in early access. Features may change, and occasionally things will break. We'll do our best to tell you about significant changes.
#Your account
- Accounts are by invitation. Keep your password safe and don't share your account; you're responsible for what happens under it.
- You must be at least 16 and able to enter into this agreement.
- Give us accurate details and keep your email address current, so you receive important notices.
#Your API keys and connected services
Larvabot works with accounts you create at third-party services (AI, search, email, community platforms) and the keys you add in Settings.
- Those services are provided by their own companies under their own terms, which you are responsible for following.
- You are responsible for any costs those services charge. Larvabot's quota guard is designed to stop below free limits, but it depends on what those services report and can't be guaranteed. Keep paid overage or pay-as-you-go options switched off if you don't want to be charged.
- Only connect accounts you're allowed to use, and revoke keys at the service if you stop using Larvabot.
Larvabot may also offer shared resources, such as a shared search server, with usage limits. We may change or remove them at any time.
#Your outreach and your content
You are responsible for the emails, replies and messages you approve, post or send, and for the projects, contacts and data you add. In particular, you are responsible for:
- following the laws that apply to your outreach, including anti-spam and privacy laws such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PECR and CASL where they apply;
- having a lawful basis for contacting the people you contact and honouring every opt-out promptly;
- following each platform's rules when you post in communities;
- making sure what you say about your product is true.
You keep all rights to your content. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display it to provide the service to you. Our acceptable use policy is part of these terms.
#Plans and payment
Some plans may be paid. The price, billing period and limits (such as how many projects you can have) are shown when you're offered the plan. We'll tell you before any price change affects you. Unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid aren't refundable.
#Availability and changes
We aim to keep Larvabot running smoothly, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Background jobs, third-party services and search results can fail or be delayed. We may change, suspend or stop features, and we'll give reasonable notice before removing anything significant you rely on.
#Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Larvabot at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the acceptable use policy, put the service or others at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first. When an account is deleted, its data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
#Our property
Larvabot's software, design, brand and content belong to us. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or try to get around its limits or security.
#Disclaimers
The service is provided as is and as available. AI drafts can be wrong, and outreach results aren't guaranteed. More in our disclaimer. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
#Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Larvabot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for anything caused by third-party services, platforms or the people you contact. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
#Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your outreach, your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent the law allows.
#Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For meaningful changes we'll let members know by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. If you keep using Larvabot after that, the new terms apply.
